Playing with Technology

This evening my RSS reader had a nice surprise in it from ifelse. I checked out the page discussing lightbox and decided to install it on my personal blog. It went pretty smoothly except for the loading image. I’d like to put it on this site but until I figure out how to allow the loading image to be in the theme directory, I don’t think I can.

I really like the fact that the image is placed over the current page and then disappears when clicked on again. It is so much more convenient than being taken to a new page and then having to go back.

If you decide to check out the installation on my personal blog, be aware of the fact that the images are huge. They are huge so that family members can download them to make prints up to 8 by 10.
